I'm sure it would draw attention by local law enforcement if I drove it around on the roads. But they might not ticket me because it really is a 10hp Wheelhorse lawn tractor with a different look.

I did not get to the shop much yesterday but I did get the new windshield parts painted and the new step. I also slapped a new coat of paint on my main workbench as it was looking pretty bad. I decided the hood scoop is coming off the little Jeep go cart. I do not like how it looks. I want it to look a little like a old Willys flat fender and that takes away the look too much. Also the big spot lights by the windshield are coming off too as I don't like how they took away the look. But I do like the front winch lights and front lights. jeep 1.JPGjeep 2.JPG

Nice that you can look at it and change your mind after you've put time and effort into doing something.

I am not happy with the overhead roll bars either. They will probably be altered. I got to be happy how it looks overall or I need to change it. This is what I love doing so it isn't any problem. That is why things are painted with a paint brush , ha,ha. I can cut a hole or weld something in and grind it, sand it do a little body work and get the paint brush out and paint it in the same day . That makes it nice and less complicated. No showroom paint jobs here, ha,ha,ha. I have done a few nice smooth spray paint projects but the overspray is terrible. I do sand the paint and wheel it out eventually and it does shine ok but no problem getting scratches . :cool2:

wait, what's wrong with the roll bars??.. safety should come first!.. the flat section is for head clearance, the section that angles down is to connect to the frame, so what is wrong?..

A priority in selecting offroad tube buggy paint color is whether it can be brushed on. Makes character marks much easier to repair.

I'm keeping the roll bars , I just may have to tweak the top two bars after I get the seats mounted. They may look too tall , not sure until I fit the seats. They may be ok too ??

Painting these projects with a brush is crude I know , but it really is so easy. Today will finish spot welding the piece in the hood back in place, then I'll do the body work and get the paint brush out and slap a nice coat of paint on it . No worryies about overspray or paint thinner or cleaning the guns. No problem matching the paint either, ha,ha. I painted the rims black yesterday that were on the back of the grader with the 33" tires. These will be used for the Jeep go cart matching trailer project. Also the round fender sulky has never been used and will be tweaked . It has brand new spindles and hubs that will be great for the trailer. The trailer should get built this winter too . Two very fun projects.jeep 1.JPGjeep 3.JPGjeep 4.JPG

I got the body work on the hood and got it painted yesterday . Nothing fancy but looks so much better with no hood scoop. I also built the right side step , the right side panel and the right side fender step.jeep 1.JPGjeep 2.JPG
