I constantly make this mistake too, but then I'm a dummy when it comes to mechanical stuff. But I do know the difference. A motor gets its power from electricity; an engine gets its power from magic, right?

Still waiting. They are a terrible company and will NEVER go there again.

My return tracking showed the block was returned 10:30am on Monday.

Tuesday afternoon 4:30pm I called to simply confirm they got it and inquire how long it would take to process the refund credit back to my card.

Shop manager started swearing at me and giving me an earful. Saying things like "this $h1t don't happen overnight" and "I don't know what the h3ll you want me to do", and " it takes a few days but you will get your d@mn money back"....etc.

I told him I was just asking a simple question, no point in getting upset and cursing at me. His reply...."$h1t I ain't said the first d@mn swear word to you"

People like that need to keep in mind how easy it is to record a telephone conversation.

Eleven (11) states require the consent of everybody involved in a conversation or phone call before the conversation can be recorded. Those states are: California, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Washington.

Getting back to the original topic, I'm glad to hear that you are up and running again. I've been following your thread but didn't have anything to contribute.
I doubt that I was the only person who went out and checked my dipstick location. In my case the transmission coolant line to the radiator protects it somewhat, and if I tear THAT off then I've really screwed up.

Guys also need to pay attention the drain plugs on the trans case. I've seen some drain plugs work loose and leak fluid.
