Forgot one. What about: motor oil ? Am I using the wrong type in my gas engine truck? When are we getting electric race cars to use on all of the "motor speedways"?
What's powering "motorcycles"?
Has 90+% of the population, including all of the dictionary writers, been using the wrong word?

Get off it guys... Engine and motor are used interchangeably. Motors can be electrical, internal combustion, other. This seems like a who cares matter. Engine vs motor. They do the same thing with a different fuel source.
I DO check the engine and hydraulic oil every time prior to startup. I will DEFINITELY give each dip stick more than a brief glance from this point forward.
Your situation is frightening.
NOTE - - LD1-does your homeowners insurance cover your tractor. My State Farm homeowners insurance does while I'm on my property. May be worth a call to your insurance company.
You are very fortunate as my state farm policy will not do that. I have all my insurance through them and they wanted a very high extra premium to cover my tractors .
Mine are covered up to a certain dollar amount as part of a basic "farm" policy. They aren't covered off the farm but are when on my acreage or going between acreages. Maybe look into that.
