But if man's reasoning is superior, so that can't be the case. Anyone using any reasoning would understand the costs associated with a baby and the time involved in raising a child, and would only screw if they we're will to take on that responsibility, right?

We as humans chose to have our dog neutered instead of trying to slip protection on him if another dog came into our fenced in yard. My wife and I use protection because we have 2 kids and are satisfied with those 2. I can only answer for me.

If the question is directed towards me, the answer would be no.

That said, like Shaneard, I can only speak for myself, particularly when it comes to "bully breeds" and my own personal experiences.

I've found a dog is just plain lot easier to be around and spend time with. You know exactly where you stand with the dog, and even if they're stupid, they generally don't do things to intentionally screw you over.

The bigger question becomes for those who believe man is superior to animals because he is in His image is, are we are brothers keeper?

The bigger question I ask myself is where exactly do you draw the line and why?

I agree this is normally true but there are instances this is not the case and has been proven many times over, but for the most part you know where you stand with a dog..
