I like that table idea. Looks high enough to not have to bend over to look closely at something. Every year it gets harder to see stuff.

I made this mobile table for the shop.

36”x 19” x 3” laminated wood top
2”x3” square tube
2”x3”x3/16 angle
4” greaseable swivel casters
2.5” receiver tube mounted vertically

36” working height to match work benches, welding and burning tables.

Total weight 145 pounds

Big Barn, very nice. You're on a tear!

Do you have special source for your steel stock?

Now if you tell me you milled that butcher block top yourself, I'll know for sure I'm not worthy. :)

Terry, I had to wait to get home to see your pics on something bigger than my phone. I like it a lot!

Did you laminate the wood top yourself?

What are the holes in the structural members for?

Thanks Threepoint.

No special source for steel stock. The supplier I frequent treats me well though.

I can’t take credit for the laminated wood top. There was an ad on Facebook for various lengths. The lady was keeping the only six footer for herself so I took the next longest piece for forty dollars.

Dragoneggs: the holes are purely cosmetic. Most my projects reflect a holier than thou attitude.

I figured as much! :drink: Boy do I need a Magdrill!

Actually the holes in the rectangular tube were done with sheet metal cutters on the drill press. (I don’t have a fancy setup for my mag drills like BuckitCase). It was easier for me to keep the holes parallel using the dp vise.

I used the iron worker for the holes in the angle iron. Easy peasy

I have that problem also, and I’m shorter than average!

Just not fair! :hissyfit: The iron worker is on my bucket list.
