I will worry about a cab once we move up there and get a better feel for the snow.

You could always add a cab later, the Curtis Cab is the nicest cab I've seen that wasn't factory. Here are some photos from the one I told you about... This cab has heat, and the owner said he had no problem staying warm in the winter. It did not have the air conditioning, but I believe they do offer a kit for it now.

This cab makes a really nice snowblower setup :D

You could NOT have made a better decision! Congrats!

You can always add a really nice aftermarket Curtis cab down the road.

Did you get the hydraulic skid steer quick disconnect option?

I didn稚 get the hydraulic. Yes the Curtis is nice.

Be careful with those rocks, a TLB is not a rock crusher or rock drill. You will be amazed at the work you will find for that TLB. I rarely even start my LS anymore when I need a tractor, I go to the Kubota B26 for nearly all my chores. The cab on the LS is nice for cold/wet/hot days but the B26 TLB does much more than just a tractor with an FEL.

This is exactly what I hope to experience.

It has finally arrived! 10 ft overhead door, had to do a small amount of backhoe manipulation to get everything to fit.

Still waiting on the grapple, should be a week or two.

Seat time probably next week. I have caulking to finish!

Very nice, it’s just screaming at you to get some hours on it and scrape some paint off the buckets.

I do have a few. Wasn't sure where the best place to post them.

This last Saturday I got 7 hours of seat time. Unloaded the grapple from the truck with the forks, attached the grapple, used it for the entire time.

A factory tightened 3rd function hose (metal tubing going into the FEL mounted valve) was loose. It sprayed fluid everywhere. I had to tighten it down, no more leaks. Checked fluid level it was fine so the volume was low.

After that took up a number of wind throw trees. some were small enough that i just grappled them a few feet from the roots (remember they are horizontal blown over) and ripped them out of the ground.

The weather doesn't get much better than last weekend here in the Colorado high country. 70+ degrees and no wind...
I counted trout in the stream, brought in some firewoood, changed out a tree-damaged hose on the M59 and then took a walk...
Saw mountain lion tracks and fox, no moose.

Back to tractors and that BH bucket hose. It needed to be replaced because I damaged the rubber cover by rubbing a tree and it was seeping a little....It probably wouldn't have been a problem if I had noticed before the rub that the protective sleeve had slipped up exposing some unprotected hose. That heavy fabric sleeve does help resist abrasion on a backhoe, but for max protection I like the hoses that Kubota armors with metal spiral wire wrap. Those are really bulletproof. I'll post some photos in a new thread so other BH owners can chime in...

BTW - when I have a little problem like that hose on the M59, I'll sometimes walk over to our JD 310 to see how Deere solved the same problem on their big hoe. JD has been building TLBs for about 50 years now.

Please do. I am not familiar with Kubotas. I have seen others, just not Kubotas.
