I agree until the Pacific jet de-energizes the cold will be bottled up North. And the Polar airmass is warm for this time of year which does not help. As long the upper level jet remains as it is a wet December

The weather models reflecting the tail end of this weekend's storm 12/16-17 are all over the place a to track, degree of phasing, degree of strengthening off the NE coast, and whether or not as the storm intensifies (if it does) how much cold can it draw into and where the commahead precipitation field forms. The brainiacs at weatherdisco are not even posting about this possibility but the NWS has. They (WxDisco) are focusing on two storm possibilities shortly before and after Christmas. Having posted the possibilities for snow, as you have been posting it's still too warm.

Back from PT, Dentist, Twp Treasure, and drop off paper work for a Dr visit next Monday. All went well except for my wallet.
