Used ethanol in my 1982 Stihl, which is the oldest engine i have. Doesn't get near as much use as it did. To start it, choke, pull once, pop the trigger, pull and it starts. No mushy fuel line. Only thing is, the ethanol makes my chain dull sooner then it used to.
That's not surprising. It also causes male pattern baldness; I didn't have this bare spot until I started using E-10 back in 2008.
Odd. I can't find anything around here other than 87 octane non ethanol. Is there a fuel treatment that raises octane level?We don't have ethanol free 89 around here. At least I've never seen it. Only 91.
