Update on RX6010 with low hours motor failure

VTDT, I hope the repair goes well for you in spite of your reception here so far. We mean well but do hear from some nasties, and some of us get frustrated when posters who have limited tractor experience don't frame a question as to give us the best perspective.

I'm sure you have something to offer us as we might to you. If recent comments haven't caused you to leave us for good, I hope the rest of us will consider that you've 'paid your dues', can say what you want from now on. We're a pretty decent bunch of individuals. Stick around and make us better as a group. t o g

As a lawyer as you claimed to be
I don't think VTDT ever claimed to be an attorney. Are you conflating two different threads?

There have been a number of members who have tried to help by offering explanations, theories, and advice even on not much detail. For those members I'm grateful. But I'm surprised, disappointed, and embarrassed in the number of folks here who seem to be more interested in saying 'I told you so' or 'you're doing it wrong'. It's small, not productive, and doesn't help anyone. No wonder the original poster stopped providing details.

I think you have it backwards. Him not giving any details led to the confusion and doubt.

Come on fellow members, can we stop kicking the guy when he is down? He is new here and maybe new to tractor threads too. We don't know his situation and we should loosen our expectations a bit until we hear more. If we don't....so what? Move on.....

If you were interested in more details, why didn't you ask for them? Instead, you offered this:
Lets see, a new poster bashing a brand in his 4th post..... That's a new one.......Not!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The guy's got a $$$ repair and he's frustrated, of course he's not happy right now. But that doesn't mean he has nothing to offer and that this community couldn't learn something from him. At this point you've labeled him a brand basher and dismissed him. Why would he turn around and offer details?

All We had at the beginning was a short vid of a leak and a broken heater. I never said nutting about not learning. I learn a bit from everybody.

@ruffdog- I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who feels this poster didn't get to see the best TBN has to offer.

I wish I had something more productive to add to this thread. Unfortunately, engine design/failure reconstruction isn't something I can help with. So I've played the only role I can here, trying to smooth things over with a new member.

I second that sentiment, gents. We showed little patience to see what else the OP has to offer, .. beyond his initial report of the disaster and tolerating our reaction .. 'or not'. We're better than this.
