Black poly water pipe is flexible enough to come in a coil and it is completely UV resistant.

Perfect! Thank you!

Black poly pipe might work and it's probably the least expensive, but you could also look at non-metallic sealtight. It's very strong and UV resistant. All electrical stores and suppliers should have it in various diameters.

For running water???

I would not want to be the one however, that tries to hang up a roll of poly. Maybe best to stretch it out in the sun for a while first. There are different grades here, from no stripe (economy) to various colored stripes for grades.

I'll probably know what you mean after I try it, but for now I don't see what the problem would be.

It's been in a fairly tight coil since it was born and wants to stay that way.

In fact, when you bury it, you have to roll it out and back fill it every so often to keep from jumping out of the ground and going back into a loop..

He was talking about PEX for water. I got the impression he wanted something to protect the electrical and air from UV and maybe even run the PEX inside it also.

Which is what I did when I ran my water line from the meter to the house. I did a length of 3/4" inside a length of 1" for extra protection against rocks also. But it still rolled out and laid in the trench fine.

Was it possible that the direction of the bends were opposing each other? How long a run? We have stones and I always cover the pipe with sand by hand. I would spend more on higher quality pipe, larger diameter before I put one inside another.

I pulled my 1" 200PSI Poly into a 150' 4" PVC conduit and it wasn't easy on account of the tension of wanting to roll back up.

No.

75' or so.

Used very small gravel (1/4-0) at the joints at each end.

Wanted a single continuous length with no joints or couplings and this was the only way I could find to do it.

Not meaning to hijack, but I am in a pickle because my 4" LB that houses my airline in the picture with the fork leaning up against it, has ripped away from the building, either from frost or settling and I don't know what to do about it. DSC04384.JPG
