Very nice job. If a lot of snow was a regular occurrence, I think I would invest in a front mount snow blower. That is a whole Winters worth where I live.

that's several winters worth for us....as much as I like my tractor seat time, I can see that getting old quick, LOL

One thing nice about not working any more is that I never NEED to move snow, at least not within the first few days. Most often, it's well on the way to water by then. I've had 20 or more inches in a few days, but it rarely lasts more than a week and I just hunker down for a few days.

Only looked at mine today. Still in the shed waiting for the mud bog outside the shed door to dry up enough to drive over so I can do some things. Have several piles of wood to be moved for one thing.

Wow. Central Kansas hasn't seen snow like that for decades.

We have been in a drought for the last 7-8 years, getting worse each year. I think we had 2 or 3 snows last year, each only being a few inches. Didn't have to touch the snow, melted off in a day or two. I guess Mother Nature is trying to catch up!

I wish some of you have at least part of the rain we have had the past 2 weeks or so. Alabama is well ahead on rain right now. I know that come next July, we will be wishing for more.
I did full service on my LS this weekend. It took awhile but all went well. I went ahead and used LS filters due to warranty. I used John Deere fluids. I work for a JD construction dealer. They do have some of the best oil, but I am not sure who makes it for them.
I really wanted to run my new ditch bank flail mower, but I would have needed floats to get across the pasture.

Went lumberjackin'.

Moved some cut pieces around and dragged 4 trunk sections out of the brush where they fell when I cut them. Impressed a neighbor with the FEL lifting ability handling a 12' long section about 12-18" diameter. He kind of shook his head when I picked it up like a toothpick and carried it close to 100 feet.

Cleared the driveway of snow this afternoon.
Two inches of snow.
In the suburbs.
With a 70hp tractor.
Because I could.

yesterday I poured a new sidewalk to our side porch. I used the FEL as my wheelbarrow to haul away what I dug out for the forms, then changed to the pallet forks to unload the 16 bags of concrete from the back of the truck. Today, I'm going to use it to take a pallet with some 16" square stepping stones around the corner to my daughters house because they need them for a project they're working on. Here's my sidewalk, didn't actually get any pics of the tractor picking up the pallet of concrete bags. That was 16 bags, 60# each....960 pounds was nothing for the front end loader, but the ride would have been less like a roller coaster if I'd grabbed one of the implements and put on the rear

Looks nice! You apparently had more work mixing the crete than carrying it!

I didn't get any pictures of that big log either and I'm kind of kicking myself now. I was more concerned with getting it moved safely I guess. It was a real bear getting on the trailer too so I could take it to a nearby mill to get sliced and diced. Had the same issue sort of with some bucking over the rougher terrain, but never felt like I would lose it.

There is a thread on another brand where the OP got zinged by the manufacturer over a brake issue. Pedal wouldn't come all the way up and the dealer didn't think it was a big issue. Wore the wet brakes out and cost a bunch. No one knows why the pedal wouldn't come up or if it was the cause or not. But the discussion turned to brake indicators which may or may not have told him if the brakes were applied. The brake lights on our dashes are only for the parking brake, not normal brake use. I changed that on mine this morning. Added a $1.00 LED and a grommet I already had into a hole already in the dash. Just had to remove the existing blank plug. No idea what the hole was originally intended for. Ran wire to the trailer connector near the rear PTO shaft to get the brake light power;

Now I have a brake indicator that's on whenever the brake pedal is depressed (whether the operator is or not).

Also added a pigtail connector for a battery tender. Yes, I found the other two connectors for the key switch to get the entire shroud removed and out of the way.
