Buying Advice New L3560 Limited and Standard Versions

I do have a MMM for my GL3240 and it does a good job. I have been looking for a cabbed tractor that would offer the amenities of the Grand L's and a MMM but yet do other work that requires a certain size and weight. The 3560 may be to heavy for the MMM utilization anyway?
Thanks!

The Grands are to heavy to drive on a lawn much, unless you get turf tires. I have 5 acres of field/pasture & not a blade of lawn. My R4s on my L4060 are fine for that. But if the ground is damp or I turn hard it tears things up respectably.

The 3560 weighs within a few hundred pound of what the L3240 does. If you want a modern cab, about the same weight, and a MMM then JD's 3R series is pretty nice. I think Massey might have something as well.

Edit-Just checked JD's website. You can have a mower or a cab. Not both. Maybe there's a workaround?

The Yanmar YT235C offers a premium cab with MMM. Weighs about 3000lbs.

I seriously doubt eliminating some lights and mirrors would change the price $2K.

You left out the step and cruise control. That was my question at the show as to how eliminating what they said would reduce the price by $2500.

Can't remember who mentioned it but earlier someone described the HST differences. That's how you get a significant price differences. Steps, lights and mirrors are collateral losses used to distract the buyer. It works. There are posters here that think they can bolt on these items and "poof", they've got the more expensive tractor!!! :)

I'm the one who posted that, and it was refuted by another dealer. I'm test driving one on Saturday, so I'll report back on who was correct.

I've seen a couple dealers say specifically you can buy & bolt on the missing pieces to make it the nicer tractor.

Please explain why Kubota would do that?

They're trying to bridge the gap between the B2650 and standard L3560. I'm not a market researcher, but I bet they're losing market share due to not having anything that can price compete in that area. Again, I'll test one on Saturday and see what there is to see. I know the mounts for the lights and mirrors are still on the cab, and the dealer seems pretty confident he can add front worklights on.

Why they went this route and not adding a cab to the MX or standard Ls I'll leave for someone else to try and explain. Though I suspect designing a new factory cab is stupid expensive.

I understand your theory. I believe you are correct.

I'll struggle to believe Kubota would leave off $200 worth of lights, step, mirrors and deduct $2500 from the price.

Potential buyers need to cautiously approach this.
