Do agree and could be a very big factor

Maybe it comes down to a hydraulic top link should only be used on tractors under 60HP. The MX5200 3 pt lift is 2310lb, and things bouncing around can well exceed this limit and then add in that on the TL and the check valve pressure limit could be reached momentarily.

So I'll add my little cylinder and play around with light things, and if I get a heavy attachment someday, I'll change to a screw type.

This has made my day, I can't stop laughing.:rotfl: Try telling that to these guys that are running a 660HP articulated tractor that have a cat 4 hitch that lifts over 20,000lbs.

By the way, they use a 4" dia cylinder with a 2" dia rod.

Big and small, I build them all.

Well, like I said, if you never have the need for heavy implements.....you will be just fine with an undersized cylinder.

But let me reiterate I case it was overlooked...you have NO PRESSURE RELIEF protecting anything unless you are ACTIVELY moving the toplink

Installed it today and go figure another issue showed up, its a CAT 3 fitting. Guess I'll be using a 1-2 and 2-3 bushing on top.

So it goes, always something

Have no idea, I was standing there with them and said I want a Cat 2 extension. Next think I know they have 3 different weldable ends out and deciding which ones to use. One guy grabs a pin and says that's to small and they grab another. I'm sort of watching but not close. I tell them I'll be back in a few hours having to go get 15 gal of UDT. Come back and take it home, next day, WT He double hockey sticks

Did you have to take the cylinder apart to weld the end on or just extend the cylinder all the way? I think I am going to have to weld ends on to make my tilt cylinder and was wondering about all the heat and the seal.

Just extend the ram.
