Glock 43

I have several 9mm's Mine are all loaded with Hornady Critical Defense. But of course when practicing they get fed my 115gr. FMJ's that I handload myself and crank out by the hundreds with my Dillon press.

I have federal bulldog I think it is, liberty (very light weight, very fast - 2000fps for 9mm), critical defense and critical duty (the fbi load).

Hard to say what is best from 3" barrel vs a 5" barrel. I've not done any 'results' testing. I've fired them all and use the critical duty for carry -accurate in the glock and not nearly as punishing as I thought it would (should?) be.

Wow, the FBI load? You qualified to handle that?

I've got hollow points, and I've got some other bullets (never 100% certain what type but I know the gun will go when I want it to) but God fobid if the Mozambique technique doesn't work.

Thanks James, I'll check them out. I reload FMC also, but have a lot of lead slugs I ran through my P228 and Beretta. I shoot lead in my 40 calibers, but have KKM barrels in them; don't know about the G43.

Fairly sure the G43 is polygonal, and likely won't do well with the Lead. I suppose if you cleaned out the lead very often and not let it build up, it would be OK.

I was afraid of that, I can shoot lead in the KKM barrels and they give more support at the ramp.

Stopped at my local gun shop yesterday and ordered me a Sig P365 to add to my fleet of Glocks. Many, many months from now, if/when the snow finally melts, maybe I will be able to get to my pistol range....

I know, the FBI tested the crap out of this ammo and they (the FBI) determined it is the best round to carry. Ironically enough it was the same organazition that started all of this crap to begin with.
