Farm UTV's.....Mule or Ranger...or other?

Owned a Mule 3010 for 12 yrs. Now have the Mule Pro FX that was bought in 2016. So far it has done well and is an essential part of the work that I do with bird dog training.

I like the dog setup, good way to exercise them, now I need a UTV with a dog setup.. My Shepherd would look forward to that..

These are imported from Japan.
They have a category of vehicle size called "Kei" means light. They are about 10'6" in length. 4WD. Some of them have dif lock. Dump bed is one of option available.
I import those for sale. All come with legal import documents and bill of sales. They are street legal in many states in US because these are 25 years old or older and exempt from DOT and EPA regulations. Can be tagged and titled. Unfortunately NC DMV is not issuing a tag and a title for these since last summer. Hoping this will get solved soon. There are few dealers throughout in USA selling them.

The K trucks we see for sale around here are usually very used, 20 years old or so and pretty whipped out for $4k. Hard to get n and out of unless you are small person

I have a Mitsubishi mini cab. ITs awesome but mainly because of how little I have in it. <$500 for it and to get it running.

For sure hard to get in and out of, I am 6" tall. and it gets stuck in cow paddies all the time. Stock skinny tires.

For $1000 or less I would buy one.

I can imagine it's tough if you are only 6" tall. That first step would be well over your head.

A quick picture of the Mule before i take it to the farm next week. I think it's going to be perfect working on the country side.

I still have my old 19 year old Toyota beater pick-up......I can certainly understand folks wanting a CJ, Wrangler, Truck etc over a UTV, but for the work I need to get done this thing will be so much easier to get in and around on. It will also fit in some stalls and smaller areas a vehicle just can't go. In the end it's all what you need and what you are happy with....so far (after 1 day haha) I'm happy with the Mule.

Good luck to future UTV buyers, hope this thread helps you as it did me.

PS....next on the list is finding a top.....make my own or spend the big bucks for the factory one.
