They got approved and ordered parts yesterday. I have at least a couple weeks to wait I'm sure. Even if the parts are quick there will be a lot of man hours splitting, swapping and reassembling.

Somehow a log found it's way above the axle and into the engine area. As far as I can tell only damage is neutral switch bracket, bent oil filter, and trashed fender and taillight.View attachment 587216View attachment 587217View attachment 587218

Glad your not hurt!! The tractor can be fixed and KTAC is taking care of you!! I have kept up the KTAC on my mini-x after it was paid off. Its just too cheap not to.

Would a skid plate have prevented this? I think these new tractors are pretty soft underneath.

Update. The shop called and said they expected to have it done tomorrow. Now that we've had a bunch more rain and I can't really do anything. But still be good to have it back.

This is an example of why KTAC is good coverage; homeowners would deny this because homeowners insurance does not include this as a peril.

I agree, this really shows the caliber of KTAC. I was a little dubious in a different thread about the policy wording, but this helps clarify how KTAC stands above the rest.

According to my Texas Farm Bureau Insurance agent my homeowners is equal to KTAC (even with $250 deductible) except that it won't replace tractor with new in case of catastrophic issue.

Finally got it back home. Unfortunately, it has started raining and I have to go to Florida for a wedding tomorrow. Fields really need mowing before deer and turkeys make nests.

Total bill was $4600, I paid $250 deductible. Well worth the premiums.

That’s a good outcome. I’ll be going with KTAC when I buy a new Kubota.

Be careful with making a homeowner's claim for small things. All the companies cross-share claims and I've heard of people getting dropped after just a couple small claims and having problems getting new insurance. If you've got a mortgage that gets complicated quickly.

I leave the homeowner's for the catastrophic stuff and separate policy for the tractor.

We don't know what over variables were involved in someone getting dropped from their homeowners insurance.

If I have an issue I will use the insurance. I used it once already 3 months ago when a cat decided to camp out in my F250 radiator shroud and before kitty gave up its 9 lives it shredded my fan blade and radiator.
