LS makes case, no sense in paying extra for paint. With that said im sitting on a quote for a LS XR3135HC for 21k includes loader.

Also think your looking at emissions to hard. Anything above 25hp or whatever it is has emissions. Each company can claim this that or end of the day they all got a filter on them

If you like red , have you looked at Branson? I know you say you've narrowed it down but Branson has a totally different emissions approach.

I would like to add that i originally wanted a Kubota L2501 or L3901. But compared to other makes, they're just so cut and dry. Massive transmission hump on the deck and many other stationary features that are missing, especially for the price. If they made a premium version of the L series like the B2650, i'd be all over that!

The L2501/3301/3901 are no frills tractors weighing 2,700 pounds, bare tractor.

The Kubota 'Grand L' is the deLuxe model, weighing 3,700 pounds, bare tractor.

What do they do for emissions?
So far I think Massey is the only one that does things a little different than most.

Check out the Branson forum. Basically a no electronics involved soot cooker that simply needs to be run periodically at 2500 or so rpm. I've got 100 hours with zero problems. But, if it does cause problems, several people have had success in simply removing the soot cooker and installing a muffler. Simple as that

The emissions does have electronics, it's the data loggers. The particularity of the Branson tractors, is that you can replace the DPF with a muffler or gut the DPF and keep it there and remove the data logger and you can still run the engine just fine (better IMO) without warning lights or any kind of problems, since the emissions system is totally separated from the engine. This engine is like an old school engine, you don't have computers to run it.

Then you don't need to run wide open all the time, burning unnecessary fuel like most brands and you can idle as much as you want without any problems.
