Did some reading last night and unlike yourself, I can admit that Ford was mooching as well just not as much as others..

I got a FREE Duramax and Allison out of the deal, so I dun good! Never would have owned a Diesel, probably otherwise. Drivetrain has been solid without an issue except glowplugs. Hardly used for anything but personal transport though.
I saw some recent FORD F150 assembly line footage. I thought to myself, it's a miracle that they make any money at all. The Infrastructure cost for one vehicle, that changes yearly, and all the components, and wages/benefits, must be very expensive.

I'm not offended in the least. More like embarrassed at how poor a job FCA did with the change.
Man, I like new free stuff. All I ever get is old, broke stuff

Not really. Ford took a loan (along with Nissan and Telsa) which they are repaying and will be paid in full in 2022. GM and their financial arm received over 68 billion in bailout money and the taxpayer lost 13.7 billion dollars. We the people lost 10.2 billion dollars bailing out out Chrysler.
