...Just one hour and the NCAA final game starts....

This NCAAB final is similar to the (so called) super bowl...i.e., because of a bad call by the official the wrong team was allowed to win a trip to the big show...!

The Saints should have been in the SB if it were not for a horribly bad call....and W.V. was allowed the win over Auburn who should be in the final with Texas Tech...if not for another horrendous call...

The officiating at both the NCAA and the professional level is pathetic...I see where one minor league group is going to start using A.I. to start calling balls and strikes...FINALLY...they need to implement it in the bigs...

It's time to make GETTING IT RIGHT the most important thing...NOT standing on some lame tradition of human officials...

Hey, if there is no such thing as an unbiased journalist or an unbiased scientist...there is certainly no unbiased sports officials...

IMO they should replace every sports official possible with A.I. ASAP...

I installed the Amp-Research BedStep this morning. Took about an hour. Hardest part - getting the three little 10mm bolts off the bumper bracket. Glad I did it now. A year from now I would be fighting rusty bolts. All it was now - driveway mud.

fried1765 - that's what it is supposed to be - dry. It's a beautiful sunny day today. Overnight temps dropped to 30F. It rained almost constantly Mon & Tues of this week. Mother Nature making up for the lack of snow - I guess. I got a new scrub brush & jug of wax - - if it ever quits raining and the driveway dries out. I still can't figure out how to wax the roof of the truck. Standing on the rolled up tonneau cover - I still can't reach even half way across the roof.

I can get to pretty much the whole roof by standing on the side step or door sills. Not super convenient. Plus a good portion can be reached from the truck bed. It's the roof... I'm pretty sure missing a little wax in the center isn't ever going to be an issue. If you're really concerned use some spray-and-wipe wax for that area.

Oosik, I just discovered Beadmaker paint protectant. I am quite amazed how cheap and how effective it is.
I had some hens jumping on the boot of my black Honda and creating minute scratches all over it. A real mess.
I chase them but they come back so I did some searching for some paint protection.
I polished the boot (trunk) lid and then applied the Beadmaker. (Real easy) It has a polymer that binds to the paint and cures. Overnight it fully cures but dries straight away. It is a watery substance and its pretty cheap.
Well, those **** hens cant sit on the car any more. It is too slippery for them. I can see they have tried. Lol
Also protects against bird poo, leaves, and applies a UV coating as well.
Well worth trying to protect your paint. Youtube has some vids showing you how to apply it. It makes it real easy to wash that roof off!

Alien - Beadmaker. Their web site makes this high tech stuff sound like just what I need. I have an old scrub brush on a handle. I'll clean it up - wrap a soft terry cloth shop towel or two around it and use it, from the bed of the truck, to clean, wax, polish the roof. The remainder of the truck is easy - just a lot of it.

The BedStep will help. It's still a pretty good "reach" up to the deployed BedStep - 24". Nothing like the height - 42" up to the open tailgate.

Right now I'm waiting for things to dry out. It rained last night, again, and the ground is still pretty soggy.

New man from FedEx delivered the BedStep yesterday. He drove all the way into the yard. His eyes were wide as saucers when he came to the door. "Your driveway REALLY DOES" have a short muddy section". He didn't get the standing message I have with FedEx, USPS & UPS. "Leave the package at the gate". He won't make that mistake a second time.

The short muddy section is getting a lot better with time. I still have to wait for the exact right moment and reverse back blade it smooth.
