I won't disagree with the overall trend of obesisty, but I do question the exact number given the measure most often used to determine obesity (BMI) makes no distinction on whether that increased weight is due to increased muscle mass or higher levels of body fat. Personally I could see both contributing given the increased availability (and use) of weight training.
Yeah, I believe the number for youths being medically unqualified for the Armed Forces is something like 30%.Muscle mass and weight training, have you done any people watching lately? I can not blame them with the globalization of our food, who knows what you are eating.I know in Austria McDonalds had to do extensive advertising saying the beef is 100% Austrian Beef and similar... without the buy domestic campaign few locals would come through the door.
