Thanks, I stumbled across DTE in Germany but Eko has dealers here in the USA. I’m not going to chip unless I need it or until the warranty expires.

Bigpuddie your are the 4707 man. The more I research this tractor I find you’ve been there and asked questions, you did your homework.

Did you get the fenders to keep the glass clean or another reason. The in stock tractors don’t have it and I’ll have to see if they can add it so I don’t have to wait months to get one built.
Lol...thanks. the fenders keep the cab and glass cleaner, especially if you run on road alot or do snow Removal. If you get them, get the pivoting ones.

So I should get the 4707 at the end of the week.

I am getting the 84 bucket and thinking of adding a piranha bar on it. My thoughts are to push into brush and saplings to clear and with a bucket as wide as the tractor it would easier than 72 one and running over the uncut edges with the tires.

I am looking at the woods bb840x rotary cutter that will cut up to 3 and weighs 1800 lbs. I do not think l will cut over 2 but I was hoping if I accidentally hit something big it would be less likely to break. The next one down does 2 and weighs 1100 lbs.

I am thinking a 84 grapple also so I push way in then squeeze and rip out vines and things vs narrower and hitting the tires. Not sure about the brand yet.

If I am wrong about my thoughts please let me know. Thanks for the help.

Nice. Congratulations. What size tires did you decide on? I have a 78 in Tomahawk Grapple. Perfect fit for the 4700. If ya need any help, my grandson, Peanut, is well versed on the tractor. 20181026_114133.jpeg20181025_152733.jpeg

You guys lost me on all the tire stuff. I think they will be 30 inch r1s but if they are on 34s that’s ok too since I might chip it if needed. I never got what the difference in the r4 was but the r1 are better for not getting stuck in the mud if I read it right. My pasture is kinda tiered some of the areas hold water too good so mud can be a problem for my current tractor.

You should just engrave peanut in the jump seat.

as long as you don't have to operate a heavy tractor like a 4707 on lawn, the R1's will suit you much better in muddy situations.
I have 34 Trelleborg R1's on my tractor and they tear up wet ground like mad. But I'll never get stuck. If you are staying out in the fields or doing roadwork, I'd stick with R1's.

I bought the 4707 because it was the least expensive way to get a glass roof to see my manlift used with FEL. It is a very comfortable tractor.
Have continuing issues with clutches grabbing, making jerking motions at rest in neutral. Factory rep already adjusted the tractor, and didn't accomplish much. Other than that, it's worked very well, has a very powerful and fast FEL. My 4707 was delivered with three point stabilizers that worked very poorly, would not adjust down to Cat 1 size. The dealer went out to a new 4708, pulled off the standard pin in hole stabilizers on that model and put them on mine. Problem solved, can now use both Cat 1 and Cat 2 implements easily. Make sure your tractor is delivered with pin in hole stabilizers. Good luck with your new tractor.

I had same problem with the stabilizers. I ended up using a smaller diameter pin on the axle end of the stabilizer and it allowed the 3 point arms to come in far enough for Cat 1.

Yes make sure you get the ‘pin hole stabilizers’. They are much better than the other from what I could tell. Maybe I didn’t know how to use the others but after demo-ing it I knew I wanted the ‘pin hole’ stabilizers. They are faster & simpler than the turn buckle type that was on the 4708. Not sure how they thought it was a deluxe option.

Somehow a turnbuckle is cheaper. I've bloodied my knuckles on the **** things enough that I got a set of pin style for the L3301. Went back to stock when I sold it. So now I have an extra set, since the L3560 already has them...I should probably sell them.

Well I finally found the right one. Visio roof, front fenders, wheel weights, air ride seat. It took awhile to find to find a leftover 2018 to get it for the pre tariff price. Build date is 5-18. I can not say enough about Brunos tractor for putting up with my OCD and questions. I also got a bb840x. They should have it prepped by Thursday. I forgot about the pin hole stabilizers so I will get them later and look into big puddies fix. I am having them adjust the stops also. It came with wheels widened 6 inches on each side so I think I will leave it that way for now.

Is there anything else I forgot, I have tomorrow to make changes.
