as long as you don't have to operate a heavy tractor like a 4707 on lawn, the R1's will suit you much better in muddy situations.
I have 34 Trelleborg R1's on my tractor and they tear up wet ground like mad. But I'll never get stuck. If you are staying out in the fields or doing roadwork, I'd stick with R1's.
I bought the 4707 because it was the least expensive way to get a glass roof to see my manlift used with FEL. It is a very comfortable tractor.
Have continuing issues with clutches grabbing, making jerking motions at rest in neutral. Factory rep already adjusted the tractor, and didn't accomplish much. Other than that, it's worked very well, has a very powerful and fast FEL. My 4707 was delivered with three point stabilizers that worked very poorly, would not adjust down to Cat 1 size. The dealer went out to a new 4708, pulled off the standard pin in hole stabilizers on that model and put them on mine. Problem solved, can now use both Cat 1 and Cat 2 implements easily. Make sure your tractor is delivered with pin in hole stabilizers. Good luck with your new tractor.
