I am not financing so I had not thought about insurance. I will check into it, if it is around 500 a year with glass and it will cover will on the road that would be worth it.

The pto mulcher looks good, I just don’t know how I would make a bolt on plexi screen to protect the rear window. I’m thinking of a heavy duty shredder and just lifting it up backing in and dropping it. It’s going to be a slow process.

Has anyone heard of a backhoe that would work on the 4707. The dealer I am getting from said no but one of the other guys an after market would work.

Hope you can find one. The issue is ground clearance on these utility tractors. They are so high off the ground you need a 12 ft reach to dig 6 ft down . Also make sure it is subframe mounted. No 3 pt.

Not to try and entice a color change, but I believe you can put a Kubota backhoe on the m6060. It would need verification.

A rotary cutter's only good for material up to 2" or so. I don't run anything over an inch through mine on purpose. When I do hit something woody it makes a terrible banging noise.

The mulcher's much heavier built than even a heavy duty rotary cutter.

From what I see in videos the mulcher does not throw material backwards at the cab or operator's station any more than a rotary cutter does. They can throw stuff away from the tractor at a pretty good velocity though.

There are also flail mowers with hammer blades that claim to handle up to 4" material. I have doubts but they may work better than a heavy duty rotary.

So I have been looking at a chip that ups the horsepower 28hp to make it the same as the 4710. It seems the be the same motor except the def system. Since the 4707 has no def I am thinking the catalytic will go out sooner if you up the power make more junk it has to filter. But I am thinking I can buy implements close to the minimum and up the pro power if needed. I chipped cars and trucks with no problems.

Also I am hopefully going to order a trailer to be made in red to match the Massey and my truck tomorrow and then make a deal on a 4707.

Ekotuning is the best programmer for the 4707.

Thanks, I stumbled across DTE in Germany but Eko has dealers here in the USA. I’m not going to chip unless I need it or until the warranty expires.

Bigpuddie your are the 4707 man. The more I research this tractor I find you’ve been there and asked questions, you did your homework.

Did you get the fenders to keep the glass clean or another reason. The in stock tractors don’t have it and I’ll have to see if they can add it so I don’t have to wait months to get one built.
