New Non-Emission Tractors

Oh well it the UN says it then it Must be true! Like we don't know that the coastline of every continent isn't the same as it was centuries or millennia ago, who or what caused that climate change, farting dinosauruses? C'mon climate change IS REAL, but to even think that WE can stop it or change it is unconscionable. Better to learn how we can cope with it if at all.

Lately I have been seeing all kinds of adds in magazines and the farming channels on TV and Sirius Radio for these tractors like Zetor and some other Russian brand advertising they are tier 3 with no emissions BS and no electronics.
How are they allowed to sell NEW tractors with no emissions systems in the USA and Canada while all the other brands are forced to sell us junk?
Is it something like what the big truck manufacturers had for a while when this first started.......using emissions credits to build non-compliant engines until those credits ran out?
Back to the original question. Why not ask directly the manufacturer ?
My name is Arie Prilik, and I'm the sales manager for MTZ / Belarus tractors.
All our tractors are fully compliant with all emissions regulations. Canadian and USA government allowed certain quotas of Tier 3 engines, and we're just lucky with our timing to have some quota tractors left. Once gone, we're switching to Tier 4 with DEF, like everyone else.
So indeed, it's a last chance to buy a new Tier 3 engine tractor (no DEF, no DPF, no complicated electronics, no computers, purely mechanical design).
Very limited number of tractors are available: 84, 105 , 122 and 155 hp sizes. Warranty up to 5 yr/ 5,000 hrs.
To those who are not familiar with MTZ/Belarus (world's largest tractor manufacturer) , we'll be happy to connect you with happy farmers operating 20-30 year old Belarus tractors with 15-25,000 hours on original engines.
Any questions: email me aprilik[at]mtzequipment[dot]com or call 1-855-246-4689 x211

Except.....it's hard to argue with the FACT that the new Kubotas have nearly zero issues. The system is working inspite of all the fear mongering. Thank you George Bush for your foresight :)
Really kubotas have ZERO Issues?Wonder why my "KUBOTA" dealer steered me away from the new models over 25 HP.told me to many emission issues.Go figure, try again. Not a kubota hater have a few of there products.

Thank you Arie515. Now we have a definitive answer. I'm sure you will have no problem selling those. I was familiar with Belarus tractors (many in my area working on farms, but very old ones) but I had never heard of MTZ. Again, thank you for your response.

This must go hand in hand with the thread about Kubota dropping dealers. I'm also still trying to find all of the posts about people having problems with their emission controls.

Thank you for your reply. Most of the Belarus up here are older, purchased from a couple of dealers who have since moved to other things. People who own them laud the simplicity of working on them.

All I know is going from a 3-cyl '81 Ford to a modern 4-cyl Kubota with DPF has done wonders for my lungs. Running the Ford I'd blow black crap out of my nose for a day straight and I could smell it running from 50ft away.

No such problem with the Kubota. I can't understand how someone doesn't think it makes a difference in their health.

I own many things that I never post about both good and bad experiences. I have many friends who had issues with thier tractors but they never post on the net about it.

Just think this small community on here does not comprise the entire tractor buying public! Who would have thought?

The bigger tractors are used commercially so, assuming the costs are spread across the industry, it's added to whatever they're producing. I, for one, am more than willing to have the price of broccoli go up for clean air. I need air. Broccoli, not so much.

MTZ stands for "Minsk Tractor Works". Minsk is the capital of Belarus, where the tractors and engines were always (since 1947) produced.
So the factory is using both Belarus and MTZ brands.
