BUT.......we are not those countries. Canada produces less pollution than almost anyone. Why? Because we have vast forests and trees that need and use carbon to survive and those trees and forests clean the air further. Even soil traps and holds carbon.

We have people and governments that think WE can change the climate, yeah right! Every 40,000 years the earth changes the angle of its axis by 4 degrees (about) geology teaches us and this affects climate, how are we going to stop that? The weather and wind are controlled by the oceans, how are we going to change that? All these"scientists" who predict gloom and doom are at the sold of governments and depend on their grants to survive, for every scientist that predicts the end of the world there are 3 more who deny it, but only the former are given a voice in the general media never the latter. We need to reduce carbon dioxide? great! trees do that admirably yet we keep cutting them down mercilessly. This scare mongering is only a way to raise taxes and justify control. We've had climate change for millennia, Palm trees in Alaska and glaciers down to the southern states, the only thing that's different this time is that WE are here. Let's learn how to cope and stop trying to stop the unstoppable.
