This is the second mowing season for my 2018 B2650. I've notice that the ride is much rougher than my B2620. Yesterday I looked at the two seat springs and they appear thinner and weaker than those on my B2620.

When riding over ruts/pot holes in a field it really jars my back. The B2620 did not do that! When hitting such bumps the springs bottom out. Dang!!!! I'd like to get a fix for that. Any suggestions?

Cheers,
Mike.................P.S. I only weigh 142 lbs.

Did you try adjusting (stiffening) the seat spring tension so you don't bottom out on ruts? I'm happy with my seat but I'm less than 150#.

Funny you should mention this.

I recently acquired a B3000 and used to have a B2150.

No doubt about it whatsoever.... the B3000 rides rougher than the B2150 did.

I expected the opposite of that. Figured the larger heavier tractor with the suspension seat would be much better... but it's not !

One might ask if my tires have the correct pressure. On the B2650 the tire recommended pressure is 35 front and 20 in the rear. Whereas the recommended rear tire pressure on my B2620 is 40 psi....35 in the front (with loader). Both have R4 tires. You'd think that the B2620 would be the rough ride.

Normally I can take some hassle from just about anything. But these "jolts" are getting to me.:(

I agree... my back was sore after cutting the grass.

Thanks guys.........no loaded tires and no Backhoe. It looks like stronger spring would help. The B2620 springs are a thicker gauge it looks like to me. That seat doesn't bottom out.
Cheers,
Mike

You have a weight adjustment on that seat.

With a backhoe on the 2650, the regular seat is replaced with a swivel base on the seat.

That is the reason I asked about a bh.

I took the miserable backhoe turntable off and put the standard base back onto my B2650 seat.

With the backhoe, the seat is not changed, it is the mount under the seat that changes. The dealer removes the seat and mount assembly and separates them, then the seat is installed to the backhoe turntable mount and placed back on the tractor.

I asked to keep my factory suspension when I picked my tractor up, and after spending a few months with the backhoe mount I swapped back. Since I typically only use the backhoe now and again when needed I find that I can lean back and sit my rear end on the top rear edge of the seat just fine. It's not as comfortable as the flipped around backhoe position, but I use the backhoe maybe 5% of tractor time.... I would rather suffer the 5% to have the suspension 95% of the time.
