I been using Power Service Additive all year long ever since I bought my tractor, I think it really helps in the cold winters we have here, dont need it in summer months but I use it anyways just in case winter shows up again, good chance it might>> https://www.walmart.com/ip/POWER-SE...Fuel-Supplement-Amber-32-oz-G5573246/16644698

Some of you have big tractors and like the fuel tank down low, I can see your point, in fact if I was buying a bigger tractor that would be a high selling point for me, I'd hate climbing up on a big tractor to fuel it up, slip and fall, not a big thing when your in your 20s but when your over the hill..................

I bought one of these recently on a whim. I use typical jerry cans to fuel my boats, pressure washer, mowers, and tractor but got tired of spilled fuel due to slips, cracked or ill fitting spouts, or overflows. I wasn't expecting much but so far I absolutely love this thing. Has auto shut off and so far after using it to transfer diesel and gas from approx 12 Jerry cans worth of fuel in the past few months it's still pumping strong on the first set of AA batteries.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^One of the reasons that turn me off from that is only 4 AA battery's, I would trust 4 D's a lot more.

It would be great if the hose was 3 foot longer to reach my tractors fill port from the ground.

Try this. Home made, cheap, it works.
A rechargeable 20v LiIon battery, universal 12v pump, switch, hose (long as you want).
For even less money a pump, hose, wires clip leads on end to your battery. 20190508_203726.jpg20190508_203746.jpg20190508_203807.jpg

Off road diesel is supposed to be regular highway diesel with dye and no road tax. But in a store that does not sell much off road diesel, the on road stuff would get rotated faster. If you're in an area that has summer and winter diesel, the off road fuel they sell might be summer fuel for longer into the fall than the on road fuel. Using that you'd be more likely to have summer fuel in your tractor come winter.
That would be correct, we generally put a fuel additive (including something for anti gel when it gets close to Winter) in when we get fuel, so it wouldn't be a huge concern to me, but fresher fuel is always a plus.

Same here, except I use gravity instead of a pump.

looks real cool to me
seems like it would be harder to fill those tanks than the tractor:)
