Pumping a lot of water from basement sump what to do with it? Irrigation?

I am not wasting time to read the whole thread but I question your calculation. 25k gallons a day does not sound plausible.

If you'd read the whole thread, you'd see his calculations are correct. ;)

It's a shocking amount of water, but seems to be the case.

I have a question for the OP. How much property do you have? Maybe a simple sketch would help, top view showing road, driveway, house, property line (with acreage). Doesn't have to be accurate, rough simple sketch.
Thanks.

I would drop the water on a water wheel,, connected to a generator,,
Then I would use the electricity produced by the water wheel/generator, to pump the basement water,,

That would leave me with a net cost of $0,, therefore I would not care how much water needed pumped,,, :cool2:

That's a perpetual motion machine & they dont work under ideal circumstances. Much less with pumping losses, friction & the basic fact you need to raise the water above it's starting point.

Reason I asked how much land is if the OP has acreage, it looks like you could put in a lake. If basement is, say, 10ft. below ground level, lake could be 30ft. deep. Water could be gravity fed by a pipe (correct size for rate and distance). image_2019-06-17_15-14.jpg

This lot is exactly 1 acre. I did capture some images from satellite last night. I’ll get them on when I get a minute. For all you “implausible” posters. Fine. Just know I’ve been a systems engineer including hydraulics for 25 years. Flow. Pressure. Pump sizing. Line sizing. That sort of thing. Numbers are my thing. BUT let’s say I’m off by 1/2 just for fun. Now. I have 10k gal a day. What do I do with it?
