Our Mahindra side by side will not start. I left the key on and the battery died. Replaced the battery, cables are on correctly. Checked fuses, none bad. Have power coming from battery, thru 80 amp fuse on battery cable. When ignition key is turned, nothing happens. No self check, no lights, absolutely nothing. At a loss, possibly the ignition key? One of the cables isn’t making a good connection. Test with Ohms instead of volts.

RNeumann, thank you for your reply. It seemed liked it would be a bad connection to me also. I did find the solution with help from the Big Tex Agriplex dealer nearest me. It seems I had two of the battery cables installed incorrectly. It goes against everything I was taught to put a black cable on a positive battery post. But that is exactly what needed to be done. After reconnecting correctly, voila, everything works as it should.

You are lucky. I'm shocked something didn't get blown up. Any time I ever hook something up backwards, it blows up!

Dont know anything about the Mahindra 750 B xtv but heard there made by Intimidator whoever they are ?
Molalla1...There were 2 large black cables, 1 smaller black cable and 1 red cable. The red cable and a large black cable are connected to the positive side and a large black cable and small black cable are connected to the negative side. One other thing that threw me was the cables that should go together on the battery terminals are zip tied to another cable but not it's terminal mate, if that makes sense. But thank the Lord it's back working right and I have my ride back,
