YM1700 and a 60 inch finish mower

A very big part of that cost is shipping. Since we all know there is no such thing as 'free shipping'- that cost has to be added to the sale price. I know it costs us $15 (and a friendly relationship with our mail carrier :) ) each to ship each one of those weights. It would still be over $1 per pound but there is no telling how much shipping was added along the way to increase the amount we pay for the weights.
I was going to bring that up as well. Walmart may be "free shipping" but that is not free like Aaron points out. It's just built into the price.

well I bit the bullet and went to my local JD dealer and just bought some. (I figured that if they dont work correctly they will let me return them) I am heading to the property in the morning so I will post up that. I also have to install my overrun clutch I got from you Aaron. I am excited to try them both.

You get FREE shipping to any Lowes store for pickup for the same price. I have 2 of these already. :) My YM2610 does have the 6ft Brush mower from King Kutter. Without the weights, the front wheels get off the ground if things bounce. With the 2 weights, 84-lbs, it tames everything. The front bar can handle 6 of these weights.

Yea i was debating getting 2 or 4... but i just grabbed 4... i figured i can always take off a few.

I am feeling more confident in a 60" finish mower at this point.

I just added the BLACK Yanmar weights to the above posting. Just in cause you wanted the weights to be more Yanmar color matched. :)

Here's one with faded and lite rusty Yanmar weights.
