Ive been on holiday in Norway, where we took a bus tour through a mountain pass. Looking down into a deep canyon, the travel guide pointed that they left the mangled wrecks below for training purposes, they only recovered the human remains...

Big part of doing anything is learning from failures. Preferably previous failures of others. Those that refuse to learn from others sometimes become Darwin award candidates.

I thought they made keeping bad examples around for training purposes illegal? maybe I'm just seeing the future of where society is headed...

Some of my best tricks I've learned from ways that didn't work the first time, some are even towing related, did lose an entertainment center I was taking to the dump (1 mile from the dump) directly in front of a police officer going the other way on the highway (if I got a lottery ticket that day, 100% chance of losing), I quickly learned to tie things down better...

Back around 1980 a newly hired salesman for an Auburn Maine auto dealership was sent out back to help clean up in the shop area. He was tasked with filling a 55 gallon drum with water. Apparently trying to see how full it was, he lit a cigarette lighter over the bung hole.
It was the last thing that he ever did, supposedly the partially filled drum bounced off the ceiling.
