How far up the hill have you progressed?...is this going to be a walking trail or do you have another vehicle (like a 4 wheeler etc) you're planning on using...?
The left lines have come to an end. The right line is where I'm currently at. It will probably just be a walking trail. I'm sure a side by side could travel it but will still be too steep for a 4wheeler. 20190713_164659.jpeg

Looking great! Keep being safe - don't get complacent up there.

Did you make it to the top yet? Looks like your getting to a kind of plateau area up there, at least.
I'm not even close.

Small 8-10 inch oak in my way. It might be troublesome. Approaching the area where I need to put a switchback in and start heading straight up the ridgeline.20190724_202147.jpeg20190724_202718.jpeg

I have a steep property in my back yard up to the hilltop as well. I rented a mini-ex a few years ago and got as far as I could while I had it. There were a lot of points where I had to use the bucket to pull myself up hills and I tipped over a few times only to be caught by the bucket itself. The road has held up with only a few run off points, and eventually I will get myself to the top, but need to plan it a little bit before I start up again.

Have you just been using your bucket and the blade and that's it? I will be honest, I haven't read all 24 pages, maybe half.

Either way, looks good, good luck! And be careful on the steep parts!

Thanks. Yep just the bucket and box blade....a little bit at a time.

I'll prob rewrite the post when I'm done for a cleaner read of the progression I went through without all the jibberish.

Alrighty, about time for our next bi-monthly installment of pics here. Or at least confirmation that you didn't roll down the hill and get squashed yet.
