Hope this helps, geoduck.

Bought it new about 18 years ago. It replaced a cold water acid-alkali pressure wash system we had on the farm that was better suited for vehicle washing when we had a lot of trucks.

Very nice. Gas powered, diesel fired. Interesting

I like the name Thor! Must be the Norwegian blood in me.

Oh so that was you eating all the lutefisk at the Sons of Norway?

We're Lutherans too (here in the Mid-West) you can tell by our cardigan sweaters, and Pastor Liz is giving invocations at our meetings in the absence of Pastor Ingqvist. :)

btw, Research has shown that it's my Scottish lineage that bears the Nordic component.

Could have been! Was a Sons of Norway member and belonged to the Norwegian Male Chorus in Seattle for years while my dad was still alive. Lost the impetus when he passed but still have strong roots to the old country!

I worked for Bjorn and Ole years ago. (A company out of Norway)...

The King and Queen were paraded past my machine.

I had to look up “lutefish’. Much as I like seafood in general I think it best I give it a pass. Most likely one of those “acquired taste” food choices.

Hope you all have a nice weekend. The weather looks good for us BC residents for our 3 day long weekend.

Doesn’t make much difference to us retired guys where EVERY weekend is a LONG one.

Terry, lutefisk is like gefilte fish for we goyem. Seems like a lot of work to fix (is!), but still ok once you've tried either. They're more accent dish than main entree.

A Lady just told me a favorite item from her muchacha's food truck is a beef-tongue taco. I'm sure it's right up there with goat's head soup, or blueberry/sardine salsa.

As a daily canned fish eater I was disappointed to see that King Oscar co has switched from the Canadian source (worth the higher price) to a German North Sea smoked kipper supplier. Now we can have the same quality as so-so Polar brand at WalMart, but pay $1+ more for a poly wrapper vs a painted can. :(

IMO (are you ready?): Beef is overrated but ok. Buffalo and pronghorn are top-shelf. (couldn't eat my speed-goat fast enough, and much got freezer burned.) Elk and moose are as good as the three common deer species, but more expensive to have processed, and horse is better than most would expect. If you don't like duck, or geese (aka shoe-leather), it's lamb that you're missing out on. btw, Nothing compares to chips of lamb in your minestrone.

That said, I'd eat cardboard if salty enough, and about anything that didn't run off the plate if served on a bed of spinach, say 2 oz of the tasty greenery. (rabbits shouldn't have all the fun) Eye Doctor just told me an ounce of spinach/day would be good for my eyesight, but I'm not about to cut back. Alligator is great, but we'll never see it up North without paying like lobster $$ for it. Darned few things beat grilled salmon or roughy.

jon I had to check the package to see how many ounces of spinach I had per day.

My intake is a little less than yours as the 5 oz pack makes me 3 daily salads.

I’m with you on the salmon. I tried alligator about 40 years ago and don’t recall if I liked it or not.

I liked lamb but only at restaurants as I didn’t particularly like the cooking smells.
