gc2300 no hydraulics.. ball bearing

I have a gc2300 I replaced pump and spur gear 6..7 years ago due to spline wear out . had no hydraulics. here we are no hydraulics again...I took all apart again pump looks ok spur gear looks ok???? so this time when I pulled gear cover off a ball bearing fell out?? all gear bearings look ok?? were did this or could come from?? something to do with hydraulic check valve?? any ideas would be great...

Unfortunately, few people have attempted to that repair themselves. So, there many not be a lot of good answers for you.

How many hours on the new pump?

Most likely a pressure relief, check if you lift cylinder has any safety valve that might have given up.

one thing I think I forgot to say is also no hydrostatic drive??

one thing i tried turning input drive shaft with pump out and spur gear did not turn???
i found were ball goes... on side were 4wd lever is there is a plug port with a spring and ball on outside

found were bear goes ...on right side 4wd lever has out side access port take nut out and spring behind it were ball goes..

also found hydraulic problem ... hydraostatic shaft spline gone .. main drive shaft connects to it then on back side to transmission
spline shaft hangs out spline is wore and spur gear wore going take apart this weekend
