before too long...if someone has been prescribed certain medications or treated for certain types of "mental stress" etc. disorders...those records will be cross referenced with both old and new background check databases...i.e,...people that meet certain criteria may be asked (required) to give up certain types of firearms..

I have no problem with that, these types of people shouldn't own guns.. Every time one of these idiots flies off the handle it makes the rest of us look bad and the type of firearm they used look bad..
