Yeh, this thread went south a bit, but back on point, dude if you're thinking AR consider putting one together yourself. It's not hard, and you'll end up with a really nice rifle. Get a 2-stage trigger, I dunno if PSA carries it, as I recall I got it somewhere else. Maybe Primary Arms. Anyways, it's a great trigger, way better than stock. If you're looking to shoot at some distance, get a free-float rail instead of the moe handguard. Using bipod or a rest, free-float will be more accurate. Also, get shorter magazines if you're going to be using a rest/bipod, 30 round mags get in the way. Finally, don't bother with stainless or chromed barrels, the regular chrome moly will outlive your average range rat.

Here's mine, ain't she sexy?!! You know you want one. :D

Rifle looks good, my first one is a build.

The Scope, looks like a 50mm, what are you shooting for distance, what's the patterns look like at what distance, what brand/model ?

I use mostly 10 round mags, need have needed a 30 round or flip mag, (2-30 rd mags secured together, end for end with clips), when shooting at something if I can't hit it in ten rounds something else is wrong.

Also, I have a lower pressure trigger but what doe the 2-Stage Trigger do for you ?

Thanks for your info.

Enjoy. It feels more like late September than late August up here.

You're on the same high horse that you always are. Although I've always taken exception to some of your comments, I used to respect you because of the way you care for strays. Yet it's gotten so that you have steer every discussion toward how wrong other people are because they don't agree with you, especially when it comes to dogs.
To each their own. However, not everybody keeps their dog just for something to sit around the house eating, barking, and crapping.

You left out ones personal Faith in God.

Mr. Sig is on my ignore list.

Back to the subject, I have an AR with a 24" barrel, SS, 1" thick, for varmint hunting in eastern Oregon, I luv the .223 rnd.
Also a 17hmr on a Savage that's a tack driver if the wind isn't blowing

The scope is a Swift, a hand-me-down from a buddy of mine, and I don't even know the specs on it to be honest. I only took it out once with the scope, it did ok at 200 yards with a m4 upper I used to have on that rifle. After I dialed it in, I was doing 4ish groupings, and that's with it resting on moe handguard.

I want better, so just recently upgraded to the 20" barrel with the rail, and got the bipod off amazon. I haven't it taken it to the range yet. That pic was me installing the bipod, no I don't eat dinner with it.

Oh yeh, 2 stage trigger, there's no long pull on the trigger, you get a short slack and then it's just a clean break.

So I went to the range today, the trigger is pretty bad, I have to figure out what to do about that because it's dreadful IMO.. Because of the trigger I didn't find it to be fun to shoot.. I shot a Colt and the trigger was much better.. Time to research a replacement trigger for this thing.. Gritty, maybe I should send it back, I did some reviewing on it and it doesn't seem to be a common problem..
