I think I need one of these, single stage.. Timney AR15 Drop-In Trigger Module..

Those are good. So are Rise. They are about equal in my mind. I get which ever I can get the better price on. I like them both a lot.

I’ve got a Timney 4lb single stage. It has a very short break and it is crisp. It is quite the improvement over what most manufacturers put in rifle builds. It’s fairly easy to install but I would recommend a KNS anti-walk pin set with any trigger upgrade since you have the pins out anyway. I have this in my .308 build. Hardest part of replacing it is putting the little set screws in on top of the first ones you tighten bc of the spring tails. Even though I love this timney trigger my next one in a future build will be a Velocity trigger. They cut the spring tails off and they are made by one of the guys who used to work for timney. Price point is better as well (based on the AR10 trigger).

If you you think you might like a 2 stage trigger then I hear really great things about LaRue.

Would you rather discuss religion or AR's ??? Your choice... pick one and put it in the right forum. Same as personal attacks, let's save them for FP. ;)

Relax... Shouldn't let it bother you, I ignore that stuff..

FP?? That must be an interesting place that I should avoid...:D

...and thus it starts.

The modification of an AR always seems to start simply enough, and then the next thing you know you're housing and feeding multiple ARs in different configurations with each set up for a different purpose.

...and fully appreciating the versatility of the design (or at least that's how I've seen it happen ..to more than just myself).

There is so much truth in this post. I always say this is the last one. But I am looking at one now.

Wades indoor range in Bellevue had one in the wall in the restroom. I stated facts from the industry. But go ahead and tell people on the internet they can ignore the industry standard. And the manufacturer. You know more.

No different than understanding the differences between AHRI certified and non certified in the HVAC industry. The issue is you have to know the ratio between internal volume coil area vrs external coil volume area to know what will actually work even though it isn't AHRI rated (which can still void a lot of HVAC matchups if you don't play by the rules). Thing is, some manufacturers don't pay AHRI to do this for older equipment. If by chance you know the forumla from the certain manufacturer, it may not be a "paid" AHRI rating, but IT WILL STILL WORK. Pretty much no difference than SAAMI.

No one wants Billy Bob's babies mama's uncle to be killed by an over pressurized round shot out of a .223 bolt rifle. The gun industry is aware of this fact;)

You're on the same high horse that you always are. Although I've always taken exception to some of your comments, I used to respect you because of the way you care for strays. Yet it's gotten so that you have steer every discussion toward how wrong other people are because they don't agree with you, especially when it comes to dogs.
To each their own. However, not everybody keeps their dog just for something to sit around the house eating, barking, and crapping.

Please note, I only disagree with people who classify a certain a breed of dog as being dangerous when I know that isn't the case because I owned that "kind of dog".

Finding a stray "pit bull" is no different than finding a stray young child that has no guidance Iin their life MO.

I speak from experience.

My high horse is from experience. Hopefully that makes sense. If not, no worries.
