Let me point something out real quick. All dudes should be level-headed and courteous, in other words, gentlemen. Firearm owners, they should definitely exhibit those qualities.

I said all I had to say about AR's, so I'm gonna unsub from this thread at this point, all this back & forth with this Sigarms guy is lame.

Sometimes you need to put people that cause trouble in most of the threads they get involved in, in there place.. Sorry if you don't like it but some of us get sick and tired of the over and over nonsense they post..

As far as " All dudes should be level-headed and courteous, in other words, gentlemen".. We are but we don't put up with a bunch on nonsense either..

Did some research, ordered the pin set and Velocity trigger.. That should make me happy... Thanks for pointing me in that direction..

Sweet!

Let me caution you with one thing about the install. I’m not sure if this will happen on an AR15 or not but when I installed my Timney drop in in my 308, I put it in, tightened it up, then went to put my safety back in. No dice, the safety wouldn’t go back through the hole. I then had to loosen all the set screws of the timney (my major complaint about that trigger is the set screws) then put the safety in, then tighten the set screws up again. Those screws push the trigger case up and don’t allow you to put the safety back in. At least that was my experience.

With the 308 the safety detent is under the pistol grip, I believe on the AR15 it’s behind the end plate. You will need an armorers wrench for the castle nut. So while you have the end plate off may as well get a magpul quick disconnect end plate and put on there. Lol. These things are fun to customize. The adjustable stock will be off so you could upgrade that as well. Once you start down the rabbit hole......

Have fun with it!

Don't get severely drunk and then decide to build our accessorize your AR. You might well do awfully dumb ****.

I’ve been known to but never when I’m handling firearms... conversely once I’ve cracked a cold one I won’t even pick up a gun to put it in the safe. Call me what you will, it’s a habit I’ve acquired.

That one might be a bit extreme.. Maybe.. I dunno..

Not extreme. There is still some unused rail visible. :)
