Got time to hit the Four Corners where you can stand in four states at the same time?

Whao, when did they start charging for that.
When I was working out in that area I went out there a couple of times there was just a parking lot a few signs and the post at the intersecting point.
That would have been in the early 90's when the coal seam gas boom was getting going out there.

In line with the subject if you get a desire to head north your welcome up this way.

I've been reading info on DEF fluid and some of the questions asked are funny.
Is DEF actually cow urine?
Seems to be a misconception among some, hope they aren't peeing in their DEF tanks...

Seems somewhere between 1200 and 1700 miles per gallon of DEF, 4.7 gallon tank.
Not going to buy any until ready to leave on long trip, not going to rack up that many miles before hand anyway.
OEM Mercedes DEF is laughably expensive. I'm sure Peak will run just fine in it, or Valvoline, or likely just about any DEF.

Not sure I'd pay money to stand in a certain place, rather go see a Pueblo village, particularly the really old ones.

Mailed off big deposit check to dealer today so it would clear ahead of time. That made things real...

Farmer, what else in Kentucky should I see? No, I can't ride a horse... ;)

DEF is deionized water and urea (ammonia fertilizer), so not really cow pee but a close relative.

I have a childhood friend with a coffee business who runs a fleet of Sprinter vans.
Need to talk to him about whether he uses a diesel fuel supplement.
I always have, mostly for the fuel pump lube feature.

He said the stock Continental tires are junk, and they are, rated something like 23 out of 25 on tirerack.com
Primarily due to very poor tread life, often wearing out in 15,000 miles.
At least there's a good Michelin replacement and since these are surprisingly small tires,
215/65/16's, no wonder they don't last long. Has to be a tire that does well under heavy load all the time.
OEM adds Bilstein shocks in rear and a Helwig sway bar. Which is exactly what I did with my last Class A gas motorhome.
Makes me wonder if the front will be a little floaty if only the rear shocks are changed out to Bilstein.
I have had wonderful results with their shocks.

I sure would like to bump the front tire size up a notch, mighty skinny rubber for all that weight, E rated or not.
The rears of course nothing you can do with duals. My Ram dually was the same way, front tires seemed really puny.

I asked for inside rear tire valve stem extensions, plus the TPMS system I believe displays each tire's air pressure.
Concerned over coming through some Colorado late Spring snow and slithering around on crappy tires.
Probably while they are new they are ok.

d - I'm pretty sure these Duravis are what my pro-wrench buddy used to put on "problem" Class B vans. People that toured a lot with those vans got tired (pun intended) of replacing tires, so would spend the extra money on these if they were staying on-tour. (He lives in another province now, but I can text him to be sure if you get serious about these).

DURAVIS R238

Haven't looked on the RV forums; might be innarresting to see there what reviews they get.

Limited sizes it looks like, but 85 series in that size would definitely give you lift up, if it fits and you can reprogram for that size.

Not the tread for crawling 50 miles down some poorly maintained fire-road, but I don't think that's what you're after on this trip. Hard to beat a commercial highway-rib tire for long-life on pavement..... just wanted to suggest that tread style........
