Watched another youtube walk thru of that RV. I really like it. Dibs when you decide to sell it, lol.I have a childhood friend with a coffee business who runs a fleet of Sprinter vans.
Need to talk to him about whether he uses a diesel fuel supplement.
I always have, mostly for the fuel pump lube feature.
He said the stock Continental tires are junk, and they are, rated something like 23 out of 25 on tirerack.com
Primarily due to very poor tread life, often wearing out in 15,000 miles.
At least there's a good Michelin replacement and since these are surprisingly small tires,
215/65/16's, no wonder they don't last long. Has to be a tire that does well under heavy load all the time.
OEM adds Bilstein shocks in rear and a Helwig sway bar. Which is exactly what I did with my last Class A gas motorhome.
Makes me wonder if the front will be a little floaty if only the rear shocks are changed out to Bilstein.
I have had wonderful results with their shocks.
I sure would like to bump the front tire size up a notch, mighty skinny rubber for all that weight, E rated or not.
The rears of course nothing you can do with duals. My Ram dually was the same way, front tires seemed really puny.
I asked for inside rear tire valve stem extensions, plus the TPMS system I believe displays each tire's air pressure.
Concerned over coming through some Colorado late Spring snow and slithering around on crappy tires.
Probably while they are new they are ok.
