You can also use a transformer (not switching) power supply. The voltage on them varies enough to keep it on.

Mine never times out either but my sister in laws was timing out, lost the setting to change and would time out every 30 minutes. She purchased the newer High power USB adapter off amazon and hasn't had an issue since.

We had a $30 a month plan from FairPoint in NH. They got acquired by Consolidated Communications, and raised the price to $52 a month.

We have really good Cell service: there is a tower on the summit of Mt Sunapee, 1.6 miles away. Anyone use one of the Verizon hubs?

Arlo now makes a system called Arlo Go that uses a wireless connection. Anyone using it?

I have an Arlo Go at my place in Colorado. It has been running since April without a hiccup. What I did was, removed the battery and am running it off of the wall wart. I put silicone over the power connector on the Arlo and put the wall wart in a Rubbermaid container. I also have a digital timer that reboots it once per day. My Arlo is on my Verizon account.

My only complaint about the Arlo is, I wish it had better resolution

The Arlo Go connects to the Verizon network not your Wifi. I don't have Wifi at my place in Colorado so it has to be a cell connected camera

I got my adapter in. My Mobley was off the first morning after using this adapter but has remained on ever since for several days now. It seems to have solved my problem at least until AT&T comes up with something else. This adapter is also nice since it is usb. It gives you more options to power the unit with.
