/ Cheap $20 a month Stand Alone Unlimited Rural Internet through AT&T Wireless

Mine never times out either but my sister in laws was timing out, lost the setting to change and would time out every 30 minutes. She purchased the newer High power USB adapter off amazon and hasn't had an issue since.
Here is the one she bought, bit pricey but for the price of the service really can't complain when it just works.

We had a $30 a month plan from FairPoint in NH. They got acquired by Consolidated Communications, and raised the price to $52 a month.
We have really good Cell service: there is a tower on the summit of Mt Sunapee, 1.6 miles away. Anyone use one of the Verizon hubs?
Arlo now makes a system called Arlo Go that uses a wireless connection. Anyone using it?
Thanks! Verizon seems to have dropped Arlo for Amazon.

You can just about buy an entire 4 camera 1080p DVR system for $200, why go with a single camera?

Can anyone tell me why sometimes the download speed is slower than the upload speed using the Mobley?
You mean you moved the Sim card from the Mobley to the Nighthawk? Or... How was this accomplished. AIt's related to the signal strength to the cell tower and the activity on the tower and elsewhere in your provider's network. I believe providers generally devote more bandwidth to downloads, since that's the largest use case, but at times when other downloads are happening but not much for uploads you can see what you're test shows.
As a total side note, but pertinent to this thread, I swapped from the Mobley to a Netgear Nighthawk M1/MR1100 device and my speeds have greatly improved. The M1 has 2x or 3x radios so data aggregation is much better than the 1x of the Mobley. It's a very nice upgrade.

s of late AT&T speed has deteriorated and I been using phone on Verizon with double the thru put.
Have two computers, both see the download slower than the upload.Or it could just be your device your running the speed test on.
What is a wired test?Do a wired test for real results
and use the speed test for your ISP

I guess my ISP is AT&T since the signal to the mobley is from their cell tower:
