Thats funny!

My last truck purchase, the salesman walked me out to the truck after signing all the appropriate documents, and I stopped and opened the tailgate, as he watched, you could see a bit of confusion coming over his face.
I reached into my pocket and took out my keys and drug the sharpest one across the tailgate.

He looked at me and said.....

"Might as well get it over with huh?"

The hitch is 1 7/8" ball, but no secure pin is used,, :confused2:
Trailer tire pressure is ~25 PSI, checked annually,,, the tractor tires are original 1984,, with only 11 PSI.
any more than 11 PSI causes the sidewall cracking to open up too much,,,

No trailer brakes, only 1984 original tractor brakes, but, I use the "Yanmar" engine brake going down grades, usually in 4WD so the rear tires do not spin,,

Travel distance is about 1/4 mile, loaded, 1/4 mile empty,,,
The degrees of the hill I go down is so steep, out of 162 eighteen wheelers that came up to haul wood, not one made it up the hill without the skidder pushing it.

The only maintenance record is the hours and date that I scratch with a pocket knife into the end of the oil filter,,,
Heck, the oil change is the only maintenance I have ever done,,,:ashamed:

I will take a chain saw out and cut that tree today,, I do not want it to block the tractors exhaust!!

I really do not know, we have 4 vehicles, and none are front wheel drive,,, :confused2:

OH MY! I think I saw 7 obvious ones without checking tire pressures and tread depths. I imagine this was an immediate OUT OF SERVICE and tow?
