You are not going to get 200 mile range, 60 would be good.

The antenna can receive a signal from 200 miles "IF" the signal is strong enough to reach it, none are. Also the curvature of the earth, trees, hills, buildings, etc are attenuate the signal
The old analog signal use to travel much further, digital as said is about 60 miles max. Wonder if the new frequencies TV channels are going to will effect distances
I agree. I bought one off those cheapies just to test what channels I might receive. The amplifier got hot and melted and I junked it, but it indicated that I could get some decent channels. The Channel Master antenna I put in for the permanent install is much better. When it comes to antennas, size matters.
