Why do you make it so hard to attach photos to posts

Thanks for the suggestions MossRoad. I do not have an IPad. I have an IPhone and a laptop. I tried your suggestions on both and find no insert image icon anywhere. What am I missing?

Edit: That was odd... using the insert image button to insert an image of the insert image button. If I broke the Matrix, I'm sorry. :laughing:

I belong to several forums and have followed this one for several years. I'm not a big poster but occasionally I do have something to add. For the computer savy I guess it's no problem to attach photos to their posts. For the rest of us (especially me it's almost impossible. I don't understand why TBN would make it so difficult. I won't be posting any more and probably won't be following TBN much in the future.

Technology - keep up or get rolled over by it. I am amazed by how many people just grumble, resist and give up. Meanwhile, my grandchildren rock with it.

Fellows, I really appreciate the suggestions but the toolbar you and others show does not exist on this website on my computer. If I could post a screenshot I would. However I apparently cannot.

As I said, this toolbar does not appear on my computer. If it had I would have been able to click on the right icon a long time ago

That's odd. Don't know how to help you if you can't see the tools bar. Maybe someone else will chime in with more knowledge.

The toolbar only appears in a reply window. Have you tried clicking Post Quick Reply and seeing if it's there?

You might be on to something MossRoad. When I click on go advanced there is an option to manage attachments. It looks like that might let me attach some pictures. I'll try it out in a Rural Living post. Still no toolbar though. That's strange.

He may need to go to My Home, general settings, and then miscellaneous setting and change the editor style to advanced or WYSIWYG
