Nope. We were on vacation last week, and every large store we went into had hardly any halloween and thanksgiving stuff and were putting out all the Christmas stuff.

My local Lowe’s had Christmas stuff out 6 weeks before Halloween.

One thing about welding threads, the guy from Everlast always comes on and pollutes every thread pandering his equipment. I put him on ignore. Only member on here I did that with.

I believe Everlast is a site sponsor. Mark came on a few years ago with a very good deal on a small DC only, welder that they don't even show in their online catalog. I'm extremely well pleased with the work it does.

My local Lowe痴 had Christmas stuff out 6 weeks before Halloween.

We were camping in PA this July and I wanted to get another pair of shorts. I couldn't find my size in the 2 Wal Marts we checked at. They only had a few larger sizes. My wife said I have to be buy shorts earlier. I said summer just started. I guess if I want shorts for next summer I'll go shopping when it's 10 degrees out. Maybe I can find my size in January. I don't understand retail.

And Mark seems to frequently give a "TBN" discount which TBN members later buy as their best deal. Mark and Shield Arc were great and responsible for me getting my only welder, an Everlast 300S? for $270.

I looked a couple of months ago and he hadn't posted since April; now I can't even find his profile. I'm not sure if he dropped out, or my memory is even worse than I realized.

Yep, they help keep the lights on and the servers running.
I have been very happy with the Everlast welder that we have.

He is good with numbers, as I recall. Last post was a year ago. Some good conversations there.

Many people come and go on TBN. Some pass away. Some become disgruntled. Some just realize they spend too much time on this subject and decide to make a change or go cold turkey so they can spend that time on other things that are more important to them.

I believe that there are many who fall under that category. Just as in the "real world", some people just can't accept it if you don't think just the same as they do.
I believe that the technical term is "intolerant".

While TBN is a much better environment than much of the web today, unfortunate when that ^ happens. While only a "select" few have made it only to mine, I've found the Ignore List to be a useful feature on here.

My Ford isn't as old as the ones Sguy is legendary for; nonetheless I've also benefited tremendously over the years from his posts. Another person I miss here is Chris, Diamondpilot - helped me (and many others) with trailer questions.

I took a hiatus for the better part of a year (won't go into that)..... hopefully these guys and gals will pop back in later too.....

And finially came back and posed a few more but not as often as he did and I just quit looking at the rural living forum as much and kind of forgot about it . His thread created a lot of copy cat threads with very similar names.
