Buying Advice New L3560 Limited and Standard Versions

You need mirrors on ANY cab model, you don't need a right hand step (never used mine, never gotten off that side anyway, the loader tower is in the way. Don't need lights either, I changed my sealed beams out to LED's a long time ago. My tractors don't come with a mid mount pto and I have no use for one anyway.

I agree with the mirrors and up to last Friday, I would say you didn't need lights. After being out at the farm working till a little after 9PM, I realized how nice lights were.

Depends on what you do and where you do it. In my case, I road after dark (with an implement on the back) so I'm 'all lit up'. Everything in compliance, from amber flashers to SMV placard to high intensity forward and rear facing LED lamps and even rear and side facing cameras so I don't have to look over my shoulder to see what is coming. I find the cams particularly useful when running implements that run to the right side of the tractor in the field. Even have a remote cam on my square baler so I can watch the knotters and the bales. Not that I've squared baled anything in a while. All I do now are rounds and soon large squares.

Yes sir, as I continue to expand my horizons on my little tractor, I'm learning more and more and the importance of features that I thought where just extra options that you wouldn't really use (i.e. lights, flashers, swivel seat). Additionally, I have found how features that I thought were ok, actually are very nice (i.e. the fuel tank filler being at waist height verses my dad's Massey with it on top of the hood). Being my first tractor that I bought, you don't fully understand or appreciate the various items until after you have to use them.

The GM speaker adapter by Metra 75-4568 plugs in the the rear work light harness. I did take a knife and pluck the ears off the side off the kubota female plug. Removed approximatly 1mm worth of plastic. I was ok with that. Then wired by Metra 75-4568 harness to my Led lights. I used the brakets that came with my led lights to attach the lights to the cab. I did a little grinding to removed some metal off the supplied bracket. I hope this helps someone save a few dollars compared to buying the work light kit from kubota.

I'm contemplating either the 3560 Limited Edition or the GL4060. There is some difference in price but the big thing for me is the 4060's extra power. It is a 4-cylinder engine, not a 3 like the one in the 35 series. I run a 6-foot flail mower behind my MX4800 and sometimes wish I had more horsepower with the MX. The 4060 would be a step back from the MX, so the 3560 worries me.

For me, the big thing about the cab is not breathing in all the dust and pollens for hours on end. After mowing for 6 hours, I tend to not be able to breathe well at the end of the day. Not getting rained on or snowed on is just another bonus.

What about a radio? I'd want a radio for sure. Does the dealer offer one? Or do you just buy a single-DIN radio from Crutchfield or WalMart? Are there already speakers inside? I'd like a bluetooth enabled radio so I can play music off my phone.

Just depends on if you can do the job with that much HP. I love my cab for sure. I don't mind going a little slower to be able to have the cab in my price range. I talked my dealer into adding the radio for me.

That's kind of what I'm thinking - the job might take longer, but I don't mind working in humid, 90 degree weather inside an A/C cab. Or working in cold weather in a heated cab.

Does the Limited Edition have an inside cab light?

It seems nobody has mentioned it, but the Limited is also missing the 12V outlet. That's something I would actually want so I could stick my 12v - USB converter in and charge my phone.
