Waiting for another Classic Yanmar newbie to come along and ask the newbie questions.
If you just need something to read here's a Yanmar story with photos and everything. First time in 14 years I got so stuck I had to use the other tractor to get out. Attached a cable and pulled the little guy sideways, then used the cable tension to drive in an arc like a pendulum to get free of the downhill fence.
Are we entertained yet?

tell me how the piston rings go? The ones Hoye sell dont match whats in my manual . Theres only one with a taper, manual shows #2,3. Should have it. So does it go top#1 shiny one, #2 black,#3 black with taper down,#4 oil?

I've never had to go into a Yanmar engine, so don't know the answer. Anybody?
