You get what you pay for. A pair of jeans that lasts is going to cost a lot more than the $15 cheapies from Walmart.
I used to hate the old-school dungarees when I was a kid. As someone else mentioned, they were stiff as a board. By the time they'd softened up enough to be comfortable they were well on their way to the rag bag.
The only clothes of mine that go to Goodwill, etc. are either ones I've "outgrown" :laughing: or stuff I never wear. I'll wear work clothes until they disintegrate. Knees wear out I'll patch them once, then make cutoffs out of them.
Is an "opportunity shop" the same thing as what we call a thrift store?
