I agree with others, you seem to have a restriction somewhere, your analysis of the problem is faulty, smaller cylinders, less fluid to move, faster the reaction.

This is one of the worst companies I have ever worked with.

I ordered a piece of equipment and the person on the phone berated me that i MUST have a dock for the equipment. I assured him I DID have a dock and a forklift so that is not a problem. He on the other hand told me that he did not believe me and that I had to pick the equipment up at the trucking facility near me.

So now we're arguing the point that I did or did not have a back dock. I said pull up the address on google maps and see the dock for yourself.

He hung up on me then CANCELLED my order.

What's wrong with the people?
Sounds like the opposite of any communication I have had with any of my EA contacts....
But them maybe I am a much nice feller to deal with than you are.....

Over the last few years I have bought 2 grapples, post hole auger, a spare auger bit and a dual hay spear for round bales from EA. I had to wait for the grapples to be built but the wait time seems insignificant now. The augers and hay spear were in stock so no waiting. I went and picked those up the same day that I called.

Every communication with EA that I have had has been professional and honest. The equipment has worked great and has held up as advertised.

AFAIK most grapples come with restricted orifice fittings/adapters or are recommended for most applications...

They can be removed, replaced with larger holes or they can be drilled out (be careful of metal flakes)

My advise would be to contact EA for the solution. It could be as simple as removing the restrictions.

Is it me, or are we revisiting 2017/Page 101/ Reply #1105 again? Link.. https://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachments/165292-everythingattachments-com-101.html

I'm sure there are more ridiculous rants prior to that one, but thanks for contributing.

I am disappointed with my new wicked dual lid grapple. This is my second grapple. Last year I foolishly sold my Kubota L6060 with the Titan grapple I had with it. So two months ago I ordered the exact same L6060, but this time I decided to wait for the wicked grapple from Everything Attachments. I am shocked at how painfully slow this thing is. The titan grapple that I bought was also a dual lid, weighed 650 lbs, and it blew this wicked grapple away in performance. The Titan grapple was so fast. I could pick and pluck and prune and quickly snag things. Speed of the lids is critical in getting work done properly. I will post a video this week of the wicked grapple and how it takes forever to close the lids. Absolutely painful. I wish I had my old Titan grapple back, which also oddly cost 800 dollars less and was delivered in less than a week. Grappling is my favorite thing to do with the tractor, and also the work that I have the most of.

I am not sure why it is so slow. I think its because the cylinders on each lid are small compared to the Titan grapple. I just found a picture of my Titan grapple carrying a stump and you can see how large the cylinders are. This made that grapple open and close very fast. Why would this Wicked grapple have an underpowered cylinder that can't deliver the fluids quickly enough to the lids?

Sounds like something is going on here concerning flow restriction. Best I can tell by research with the limited customer details given, you have the 66" Compact Wicked Grapple, which we've sold more of over the years than any other.
If you give me a call tomorrow, we'll certainly be glad to help you get to the bottom of this.

Actually, in a better world your salary would be tied to the value that you bring to the business.
- Yep. And tied to percent of gross.

A business does not owe you a living.
- Agreed.

If you don't like your situation, you can change it.
- Typical naive statement. Look after number one, don't consider the overall effect. Greed.

If you have a better idea of how to run things, start your own business.
- See above.

Apologies to OP and viewers.

OT- I am a fan of EA, use their products almost every single day. Am satisfied with all aspects from their upfront information, customer interaction and service, to the quality of the product, through shipping, and ability of the product to perform, and perform over time. Thank you EA, and thank you for adding funds to TBN. My favorite web destination.

Aside from speed, which I agree is related to hydraulic flow, is there anything that you could not do with the Titan Grapple that you can do with the EA Grapple? Or vice versa?
